I've been building websites since the dawn of the web when the only option was black text on a gray page. Those days are long gone and today's websites have a multitude of options, unfortunately the majority of the options do not add any value to those who visit your site. My focus is on providing affordable web sites to small businesses and individuals who want a website that provides a clean appearance with succinct information and useability.
If you want a lot of flash with 'features' distracting and annoying your visitors I'm not the person to talk to about your site. If you want to clearly convey your image and message I'd love to talk to you.
A bit about me: I'm retired and provide my service to help people by providing websites & hosting without hassles, high pressure, high cost or gimmicks. I'm not making my living providing these services and don't need to upsell you in any way. I am readily available to make changes and updates at your convenience. Additional charges for minor updates are minimal and may be done at no charge at all.
Above are a few examples of sites I've built or re-designed as is the case with God's Little Acre (Before Re-make). Clicking the photos or links will bring you to the website in a new window. To return to this page simply close the website after visiting. Please note the example websites are single page and the links are representative only and non-functioning. As an offroad 4x4 enthusiast I also run my own website at Front Range 4x4 which is a good example of a customized forum. Here's an example of a Business Website waiting for personalization as well as an example of a Home-based Business Website also without personalization. A quick note: "Lorem Ipsum" is filler text commonly used for presentation and has no meaning.
My rates are affordable and follow a few basic rules, I do not have "plans" to choose from or lock you in to any contracts. It is your responsibility to provide all the information you would like to have on your pages including photographs and logo in digital format if you use one. I'm happy to assist with editing for clarity and adjusting the photos to display properly on your website. It's also very helpful if you have an idea of what you would like your site to look like by providing a few examples of exisiting sites styles that you like.
Pricing:
• 1 to 5 pages: $250 including one year of hosting
• 6-20 pages: $500 including one year hosting
• Larger than 20 pages varies depending on size
• It's your responsibility to provide all content and images/logos in digital format
• All hosted websites include a web-based email account
• If you don't have a domain name I can register and host that for you as well for $20.00
• Features such as forums, blogs, etc may add additional cost but probably not as much as you've been quoted by others.
• Second and additional year hosting is only $50 per year.
